OPAP’s board proposes 0.70-euro dividend on back of record GGR performance in Q4 2018
The ATHEX-listed Greek Organisation of Football Prognostics’ S.A. (OPAP) board on Wednesday proposed a dividend of 0.70-euros per share, with the proposal to be forwarded to a general assembly of shareholders.
The company, which organizes and conducts numerical lotteries and sports betting games in Greece, mainly through affiliated betting parlors, has already distributed a 0.10-share.
OPAP referred to a record in quarterly Gross Gaming Revenue (GGR), with Q4 2018 the best performance since 2010, and the best EBITDA performance since 2013. GGR increased by 6.3 percent to 1.547 billion euros. GGR for Q4 2018 increased by 7.6 percent, to 440.7 million euros, with OPAP pointing to higher revenue coming from VLTs and improved performance by its KINO game.
