Ray Woolley, a 95-year-old British veteran of World War 2, broke his own record on Saturday, to once again become the world’s oldest scuba diver.

Woolley, who just celebrated his 95th birthday on August 28 decided to take the plunge to explore a sunken shipwreck off the shores of Cyprus.

His dive lasted 44 minutes and reached a depth of 40.6 meters.

Last year when Woolley was 94-years-old, he completed a dive lasting 41 minutes and 38.1 meters – the record which he broke Saturday.

He also holds the world record for being the world’s oldest active scuba divers, and he has no plans on stopping anytime soon.

“We did it…I feel great. It’s lovely to break my record again and I hope if I can keep fit I will break it again next year with all of you,” he said as he completed his dive.
