Businessman commits suicide in Athens
A 90-year-old businessman in Athens put an end to his life in his house in Athens.
The man, who was suffering from serious health problems which had confined him to a wheelchair, shot himself in the head with a semi-automatic shotgun. Before carrying out his action he sent an SMS to a family member saying he could no longer stand to live in a wheelchair.
The businessman was found by his home assistant at his house in Ekali, in the north of Athens who called the police after finding his body. According to sources, the 90-year-old had recently told his own people that he wanted to commit suicide.
