Tsipras-Juncker meeting in Athens

Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras on Thursday will receiving EU Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker at his Maximos Mansion office.

According to a press release by Tsipras’ office, the meeting will take place just before 11 a.m. (local time), with both leaders expected to make statements to reporters afterwards.

Juncker is scheduled to address a special plenary session of Greece Parliament later in the day.

The influential EU Commission president will also meet with main opposition New Democracy (ND) president Kyriakos Mitsotakis in the afternoon.
