Greece will be under EU oversight for years to come, says European Commission representative in Athens
The representative of the European Commission’s office in Athens, Panos Karvounis revealed that Greece would be under the European oversight for many years to come.
Speaking to Skai TV, Mr. Carvounis said that Greece had to send a signal of reliability to the markets in order to be able to borrow with lower interest rates.
He stressed that it was necessary to implement the prior actions agreed so that the markets could see that signal of reliability.
