Powerful 4.0 earthquake rocks Rhodes

A powerful 4.0 magnitude aftershock rocked the island of Rhodes a little after 4pm, Wednesday, following the main 5.1 shocker that hit earlier at 2.30pm.

The new tremor was 105km northeast of the island at a depth of 10km. The first earthquake hit 70km off the coast.

Both earthquakes were felt on the Rhodes and the surrounding islands. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
