Two female SYRIZA MPs victims of theft in separate incidents

Two SYRIZA MPs, both women, were the victims of separate incidents of theft on Sunday.

The home of SYRIZA MP Anna Vagena in the Athens district of Metaxourgio was burgled and a sum of money taken during a period when she was absent for several days, while MP Maria Triantafyllou reported that someone stole her purse out of her handbag while she was on Voulis Street near Syntagma Square.

Police have launched an investigation to find and arrest those responsible.
