Athens Police seek Exarchia supermarket robbers

Police on Monday were seeking the two armed robbers who held up a supermarket in the central Athens district of Exarchia late on Sunday.

The perpetrators burst into the store, on Asklipiou Street, at around 11 p.m. and used their guns to threaten staff into handing over cash from the registers.

The pair fled with an undetermined sum without causing any injuries.
