ND accuses government of lack of security in the country
Main opposition New Democracy (ND) leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Friday (17/02/2017) speaking to Parliament said that Greece is an ungovernable country, and the situation is out of control as a result of government decisions and policies.
“The security of the citizens is the most important obligation of the state … an organised state must guarantee the security of the citizens,” Mitsotakis underlined adding that anyone who is afraid is not free.
He also said that violence and criminality have increased during the SYRIZA-ANEL governance. More specifically, robberies increased 11 percent, car and motorbikes thefts also rose by 9.5 percent.
Finally, he stressed that New Democracy is obsessed ideologically with the issue of security.
