EU-Turkey relations discussed by Tsipras, Merkel

EU-Turkey relations, the recent developments on the Cyprus issue, implementation of the landmark EU-Turkey agreement to deal with the refugee problem as well as a recent spike in irredentist-tinged rhetoric by the increasingly authoritarian Turkish leadership dominated the brief conversation, the press release stated.
