Doctor work stoppage on Thursday
Doctors at state-run hospitals in Attica will stage a work stoppage on Thursday from the beginning of their shift until noon, the Confederation of Hospital Doctors’ Unions and hospital staff unions said on Friday.
Protesters are demanding that new permanent staff of all specializations be hired and that their salaries be restored to the levels they were at before they were slashed as part of the government’s spending cuts.
