A man who was carrying a shotgun in his car truck and wandering suspiciously outside SKAI TV station in southern Athens was arrested on Thursday, police said.

The man was first seen by the security guard of the station who alerted police.

A DIAS motorcycle team arrived at the spot and searched the man who was carrying a knife on him. When asked what he was doing there, he answered with unintelligible words.

Police then searched his car and found the shotgun. He was arrested with the charge of violating laws on guns.
