New Democracy banking on TV licenses for early elections
The main opposition party New Democracy has repeatedly called for early general elections and is banking on implication in the television license tender to force the coalition government to step down.
As such, New Democracy has announced a press conference on the television licenses for Tuesday.
Meanwhile the Parliamentary Ethics Committee has accepted a proposal by New Democracy and the Democratic Alignment to summon State Minister Nikos Pappas and the four television license holders.
