The executive committee of the nationwide seamen federation PNO has announced a 48-hour strike that will come into effect at 6am on Thursday 22 September and will last until 6am on Saturday 24 September.

According to the statement issued by PNO, the strike comes in response to the actions of the authorities and employers, which are violating the worker rights of seamen.
