No buses early and late Thursday in Athens
There will be no bus services in Athens on Thursday before 9 a.m. and after 9 p.m. as staff stage walkouts to protest the government’s plans to privatize public transport organizations.
In a statement, the union representing workers of the Athens Urban Transport Organization (OASA) said “under no circumstances will we allow the destruction of the company to the detriment of both passengers and employees.”
