POSPERT media union declare 24-hour strike for Saturday

The Panhellenic Association of Workers and Staff in Greek Radio Television (POSPERT) announced it would be going on a 24-hour strike on Saturday, September 10 from 6am, Saturday till 6am Sunday. The union declared the strike in show of solidarity for colleagues in the private media who are facing the prospect of unemployment after their TV stations failed to be awarded a broadcasting licence.
