Skai TV, Marinakis, Kalogritsas and Ant-1 win TV licences

Skai TV, Ioannis Kalogritsas, ANTENNA TV and Alter Ego of Vangelis Marinakis are the winners of the the TV licences after a gruelling 66 hours of bidding. The total sum the Greek state will receive is 246 million Euros. The news of the winners of the tender came at 2.50 am in the morning.

Skai TV of Ioannis Alafouzos will pay 43.6 million Euros, Ioannis Kalogritsas 52.6 million Euros, ANTENNA TV 75.9 million Euros and ALTER EGO of Vangelis Marinakis 73.9 million Euros. The new TV licences radically changes the broadcasting landscape, as traditional stations like Mega TV and Alpha TV are left without licenses.
