Crete man ‘hung himself’ from basketball net

On Tuesday police on Crete were investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 25-year-old man who was found hanging from a basketball net in the playground of a school in Sfaka, in the prefecture of Siteia.

The corpse was spotted in the early hours of Tuesday morning by a passer-by who alerted police.

According to local reports, the man hung himself due to personal problems.
