Police have identified three people over the murder of an 84-year-old man, whose dismembered and charred remains were discovered next to a public waste bin in Egaleo, western Athens, in 2014.

A 44-year-old Greek woman was arrested while warrants will be issued for a Romanian couple, both 37, authorities said.

All three suspects were tenants of the victim and reportedly broke into his house with the intent of robbery.
