Two Syrians stopped at Irakleio airport with forged travel documents
Authorities at the Cretan port of Irakleio arrested two Syrian nationals on Wednesday, a 24-year-old man and a 44-year-old woman as they tried to board flights to Italy and Switzerland respectively with forged travel documents.
Officers confiscated the papers and detained the suspects who were to face a prosecutor in Irakleio later in the day.
