Tourists arrested on Zakynthos for using counterfeit banknotes

Five Britons, four of them 20 and one 21 year old, were arrested on Wednesday (29/06/2016) in the village of Laganas on Zakynthos alleged to have used counterfeit 20-euro banknotes to buy goods from a shop in Laganas.

Police located and arrested the five tourists who had another 12 counterfeit 20-euro banknotes on their possession.
