The Supreme Court Prosecutor Efterpi Koutzamani, who is retiring after 41 years of service, has made serious allegations regarding the institutional independence of Justice.

In a written statement, Mrs. Koutzamani suggested that major efforts have recently been made to affect the course of justice and called all judicial employees to stand strong and focus on their duties.

She concluded her statement by thanking the majority of Greek media for their objective, as she argued, coverage of judicial matters.
