Labor Ministry credits solidarity cards with 16.6 million euros
The Ministry of Labor, Social Insurance and Social Solidarity has announced that it will activate the solidarity card on Friday.
Specifically the Ministry will credit the cards of 148,048 beneficiaries with a total of 16,653,490 euros. This breaks down to about 70 to 220 euros per month towards food for each beneficiary, depending on declared income.
This will be the 12th time that the solidarity card will be activated, after being introduced to tackle the humanitarian crisis in Greece.
