The results for this year’s nationwide school exams will be published on Friday, announced the Ministry of Education’s secretary general Yannis Pantis. The Ministry will also be publishing statistics over this year’s exams a day earlier, on Thursday.

According to the circular issued, the schools will receive the results on Friday morning and will have to post them by midday. The results will also be available online, via the Ministry of Education’s website.

Given the reduction of the number of exams and other changes to the examination system, it is believed that there will be an increase of students excelling and the exams.

Following the publication of results, students will then be called to submit their preferences for university department placements. After these applications are submitted, the final entry requirements will be posted after the 22ns of August.
