Gennimata accuses SYRIZA of “dividing the Greek people”
The President of PASOK and head of the Democratic Alignment Fofi Gennimata accused the coalition government of dividing the Greek people, in reference to Wednesday’s controversial anti-government protest.
In an appearance on Delta TV, Mrs Gennimata stated that SYRIZA’s policy of accusing anyone who protesting the government of being “hostile to Greece” is criminal.
The opposition party leader added that SYRIZA had previously divided the Greek people with the Indignados demonstrations when it was in the opposition. She concluded by arguing that the goal should be to unite the Greek people and the country’s productive forces.
