Katrougalos admits cuts in pensions over 1,380 euros
“The government tries to take more from the richest people and alleviate many citizens who became poorer” Labour Minister Giorgos Katrougalos said in an interview with “Radio Crete” prior his visit at Heraklion, Crete.
On the issue of pensions, Mr. Katrougalos stressed that pensions less than 1,380 euros are not in danger.
Regarding the minimum pension, he admitted that it is extremely low, but he said that it was a way to effectively deal with the problem of poverty that Greek society faces.
