No metro, ISAP or tram service from noon to 4 p.m. on Wednesday
Athens commuters will be in for a headache on Wednesday, as there will be no service on the capital’s metro, ISAP electric railway or tram, from noon to 4 p.m. due to strike action by workers.
The workers are protesting the induction of public transport companies into a fund of state assets slated for privatization and have vowed to continue their action.
They will also be walking off the job on Friday from 10 p.m. until the end of the shift. Next week there will be no service on the three modes of transport on Monday until 10 a.m., on Wednesday from 9 p.m. onwards and on Friday from noon to 5 p.m.
