A group of motorcycle-riding assailants late on Monday threw rocks at the glass facade of the building housing the facilities of Skai TV on Athens’s southern coast in the early hours of Tuesday.

According to reports, the motorcade consisted fans of the Olympiakos basketball club who were riding to their home turf in Piraeus following the team’s victory over archrival Panathinakos for the basketball league title in northern Athens.

The assailants also tipped over several motorcycles parked in the vicinity of the Neo Faliro suburb.
