One person injured in clashes between refugees at Idomeni camp

Tensions boiled over among refugees at the Idomeni camp, Tuesday, leading to the injury of one man. The clashes broke out when Pakistani and Afghani refugees started throwing rocks against each other, before police finally interveneδ and quashed the skirmish. A refugee was injured during the clashes and transported to hospital. According to the police, the situation at the camp is currently under control. Meanwhile, a bus and a van full of refugees departed for organised hotspots at Lagada and Pieria. On Monady refugee children staged a protest calling for the opening of the borders with slogans and banners like ‘Europe’s humanity has died’.
