Man in Limassol injured by Easter fireworks
Despite the numerous warnings and police efforts regarding the dangers of firecrackers, a 23-year old man in Limassol has been rushed to hospital with injuries caused by the misuse of a firecracker.
The young man was injured early this morning while attempting to set off a firecracker in a church courtyard in Limassol.
The incident occurred at around 3:00 am, with the man receiving abdominal and leg wounds, before being rushed to hospital. He has since been transferred to the Orthopaedic Department of the Limassol Hospital.
