The Athens Stock Exchange has opened with major losses on Wednesday morning, with the general price index dropping by 3.81% at 10:59 and standing at 576.77 points.

Transactions so far have been valued at 12.01 million euros, while the yield of the ten-year bond is currently at 8.60%.

While the stock market had begun to bounce back and managed to close above 600 points last week, the progress has been turned around as a result of the postponement of Thursday’s Eurogroup.
