Greek minister rules out haircut on deposits
Alternate Finance Minister Tryfon Alexiadis has ruled out a haircut on deposits.
“A haircut on deposits in neither in the intentions of the government, nor in an issue in ongoing negotiations,” Alexiadis told a Parliament committee on tax issues on Wednesday.
Such speculation, the minister said, is product of “political scaremongering.”
