Refugees and migrants outnumber Kastelorizo’s residents
More than 700 migrants and refugees have reached the Greek island of Kastelorizo over the past few days, since traffickers have found a passage on the island.
According to locals, the number of refugees and migrants that are on the island are 740, while the local community of Kastelorizo consists of about 200 people.
Among the 740 refugees, over 300 are women and children, while authorities monitoring the situation are not sufficient.
