Decision to transfer cyber crime unit chief recalled
A decision to transfer Manolis Sfakianakis, director of the Cyber Crime Center of the Greek Police, to another department late Wednesday, was recalled on Thursday, Kathimerini understands.
Sfakianakis, who set up the Cyber Crime Center in 1995, was notified he was being transferred to the department of human resources at Greek Police’s headquarters on Wednesday. He subsequently filed an appeal against the transfer which drew heavy criticism from the opposition.
