EOPYY committee formed to negotiate cost of medicines
The Ministers of Health and Finances have signed a joint ministerial decision to form a negotiation committee for the national healthcare services provider EOPYY.
The committee, which is helmed by Professor of Business Administration Dimitris Georgakelos at the University of Piraeus, is comprised of economists, EOPYY, EOF and IFET officers, as well as doctors and pharmacists.
In its statement, the Ministry of Health underlines that the exclusive purpose of the committee is to negotiate the cost of medicine which has already been approved for inclusion in EOPYY’s lists.
