Gov’t: Cyprus, Greece, Lebanon seek trilateral partnership
Government spokesman Nikos Christodoulides told CNA that this will be the first meeting between the three countries, at a Ministers’ level, to explore potential areas of cooperation on a trilateral basis, aiming to benefit peoples in the region.
A similar meeting between the Foreign Ministers of Cyprus, Greece and Jordan, held last month in Brussels, laid the foundations for a trilateral cooperation among Nicosia, Athens and Amman.
The government of Cyprus has already promoted trilateral cooperation, in a range of areas, with Greece and Egypt, as well as with Greece and Israel.
