Journalist Papoutsaki, 60, cartoonist Kalaitzis, 71, die of cancer

The funerals of journalist Maria Papoutsaki, 60, and cartoonist Yiannis Kalaitzis, 71, both of whom died of cancer on Friday, are set to take place in Athens on Tuesday.

A reporter for the ANA-MPA, Papoutsaki also worked with daily Eleftherotypia and Mega TV, among others. Kalaitzis was most recently working with Efimerida ton Syntakton, while previous collaborations included cartoons for Avgi, Eleftherotypia and Galera publications.
