Giakoumakis abused and bullied hours before his disappearance
The investigation into the disappearance and death of Vangelis Giakoumakis indicates that he may have been assaulted and tortured shortly before he disappeared.
According to an Eleftheros Typos newspaper report, a student at the Dairy School that Giakoumakis attended attempted to hide a hard drive, while an anonymous letter argues that there are videos of how the victim was bullied.
The newspaper report also reveals chilling details on a number of attacks against Giakoumakis by other fellow students, documenting the extent of abuse he suffered.
One such attack reportedly took place about two weeks before Giakoumakis disappeared, where the bullies physically assaulted on evening. When the bullies where asked about the assault the next day, they simply responded that he “did a lot and spoke a lot” the previous year.
