Woman, 46, caught with 5.1 kilos of cocaine
A 46-year-old Danish woman faced a local prosecutor on Saturday after being detained at Athens International Airport for allegedly smuggling over 5.1 kilograms of cocaine in 256 capsules hidden in bundles of socks, authorities said.
The suspect, who was traveling to Athens from Dubai, is believed to be a member of large ring smuggling illegal substances from Asia to western Europe.
