From the stand in Parliament, the Minister of Finances Euclid Tsakalotos commented on the recent interviews given by his predecessor Yanis Stournaras on his tenure in office.

“One cannot be Minister of Finances, fulfill his obligations and respond to the interviews of Mr. Varoufakis. You cannot do both, it is a matter of time” he commented.

Mr. Tsakalotos further added that “the government has a collective responsibility” and that “he has commented on the positive and negative aspects of the first six months of the SYRIZA government”.
