Greek police, EU and Frontex meeting focuses on readmission and repatriation of migrants
The readmission and repatriation of undocumented migrants dominated a meeting between representatives of the Greek Police, the European Commission and Frontex which was held on Friday at the Citizen Protection Ministry in Athens.
The legislation and the issue of decisions for the return of undocumented migrants were also discussed in the meeting as well as the forced repatriation to third countries, financing issues and cooperation with Frontex, Erin and Eurint and the Greek-Turkish readmission protocol.
Representatives of the Foreign Ministry were also present at the meeting.
