Gov’tl tries to soften tax impact on farmers, says Agriculture Min Apostolou
The government will try to soften any impact of the new tax system on farmers, Rural Development Minister Evangelos Apostolou on Friday said in Parliament adding that the impact of new taxation on farmers “is manageable.”
He added that the measures are included in the agreement with the partners, which was voted by all parties.
Referring to the road blocks by farmers, he said that there are always some hot blooded people that escalate things.
