Athens Stock Exchange opening: Drop
Equity prices were dropping on Monday on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE), with the basic share price index down 1.06 percent, standing at 552.53 points at 11.00 am and turnover at 8.15 million euros.
The FTSE/ASE Large Cap index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks was down 1.52 percent and the FTSE/ASE Mid Cap index down 10.08 percent.
On individual sector indices, the biggest gains were in Oil (+0.65 percent) and in Travel and Recreation (+0.44 percent).
The heaviest losses were in Banks (-4.81 percent) and in Commerce (-2.45 percent).
Of the stocks traded, 13 were up, 31 were down and 10 were unchanged.
