Greek lawyers extend strike against pension reforms until Jan. 22
Greece’s lawyers decided on Thursday to extend their strike until January 22 as a protest to the government’s proposed changes to the pension and social security system.
The Athens Bar Association upheld their decision to strike following a protest rally organized by their union in central Athens earlier in the day. Lawyers started their strike on Tuesday and are expected to meet and decide anew on January 22.
