Athens Stock Exchange opening: Mild losses

Equity prices were dropping on Friday on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE), with the basic share price index down 0.62 percent, standing at 570.39 points at 11.00 am and turnover at 10.37 million euros.

The FTSE/ASE Large Cap index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks was down 0.84 percent and the FTSE/ASE Mid Cap index up 0.58 percent.

On individual sector indices, the biggest gains were in Raw Materials (+1.18 percent) and in Utilities (+0.86 percent).

The heaviest losses were in Commerce (-1.37 percent), and in Financials (-0.88 percent).

Of the stocks traded, 18 were up, 15 were down and 7 were unchanged.
