Winter retails sales begin, to run until Jan 29
The winter retail sales period in Greece began on Monday and will run until Monday, January 29.
As part of the sales period, shops will be open on Sunday, January 17.
Greek retail sales by volume fell 2.5 percent in October compared to the same month a year ago. They have been on a downward trend since June.
The biggest fall in retail sales this year was recorded in July at 7.2 percent.
