Athens Stock Exchange opening: Recovery
Equity prices were recovering on Friday on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE), with the basic share price index up 0.93 percent, standing at 596.22 points at 11.05 am and turnover at 10.95 million euros.
The FTSE/ASE Large Cap index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks was up 0.89 percent and the FTSE/ASE Mid Cap index was up 1.02 percent.
On individual sector indices, Banks (+1.92 percent), Health (+1.88 percent) and Technology (+1.82 percent) were moving upwards. Only the Food sector (-0.16 percent) was moving downwards.
Of the stocks traded, 31 were up, 10 were down and 10 were unchanged.
