The board of the European Stability Mechanism is expected to convene to decide on the disbursement of the 1 billion euro sub-tranche to Greece before Christmas, stated on Monday alternate spokesperson of the European Commission Mina Andreeva.

She also said that the Greek authorities implemented all the pending actions in order for the second package of the prior actions to be completed.
“Provided that the evaluation of the institution is positive, the board of the ESM will convene before Christmas in order to decide on the disbursement of the remaining one billion euros,” clarified Andreeva.
