Ousted ANEL MP to keep Parliament seat
Nikos Nikolopoulos, the Independent Greeks (ANEL) MP who was expelled from his party after voting against a multi-bill of prior actions in Parliament late Thursday, said he was determined to keep his seat in the House.
Speaking on Antenna TV on Friday, Nikolopoulos said he had a “clear conscience”, adding he would remain in Parliament as the “third and independent coalition partner” who would both support and oppose government policy.
