Tsipras meets Turkey’s Erdogan in Ankara
The refugee crisis and terrorism were discussed in a meeting between Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Ankara on Wednesday afternoon, but no statements were made to the press following the talks.
After Erdogan, the Greek premier met with two leaders of the opposition, the leader of the Republican People’s Party, Kemal Kilicdaroglu, and the co-leader of the left-wing Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP), Figen Yuksekdag.
